Remus/Dylan
Remus hated funerals. He'd been to too many the first time around and he knew if things went as history predicted, this wouldn't be the last. The days was bringing it home how much things may change and still remain the same.
And, his heart went out to Dylan. It couldn't not. He'd been about the same age himself when he lost his parents. Watching the young man through the service, he could remember another young man standing between his friends, seeing his life change forever.
Typically, once the actual services were complete, few seemed to want to walk away, to finally turn that final page in Cass Vaisey's chapter of their life. Waiting until there was a break in the queue of people waiting to give Dylan final condolences, Remus slipped alongside the young man.
"Mind if I cut in ahead of a few the well-meaning folk?" He said with a smile, mildly teasing because these events brought enough sorrow as it was. "You look like you could use a break from the sympathy train."
