"No denting needed. I quite like talking to you." He smiled a bit. "Trust me, with the mood I'm in, I'd have told you to bugger off by now otherwise," he said. "That and I'm a crap liar, just ask Jamie."
Perhaps it wasn't the right place to smile, but Dylan found he liked seeing someone smile like that. Almost everyone else was so serious and depressed and it was only making him feel even worse. Allison smiling and joking meant it was easier pushing things aside. In other words a hell of a lot better. "Nah," he said. "Cass had a huge ego, and he was Slytherin. They're generally worse than us," he added. "I think puffs are the only ones without the ego, they're just nice and easy going, like Ben. Or Dale for that matter." As long as you weren't kissing Patrick that was.
"Afterwards I plan to be drunk off my arse," Dylan pointed out. "Which means whichever film we get I'm not going to understand half off. Not that I mind, I can live with explosions and cars," he said. "And you know now I'll have to make you watch horror with me one of these days. Though preferably not when I have work the morning after. I'm going to feel like crap for being drunk for four days straight anyway, I'd rather not fall asleep too."
