"Good God, Severus, now you truly sound like him. You're the only one, you bear the responsibilities, and next you're decide which students are worth more than the other. You aren't turning into Dumbledore. You are him," he said.
"I'm sorry, but I don't believe any of that. I know you have more skills that most and even more knowledge, but you're not fighting that man. You're fighting a seventeen year old who's nothing like the man we knew," he continued.
"You can and should protect this school, but out there, it's anyone's turn. Any person has the potential of killing him. You're not the only one." He refused to believe that life would so clear cut, that things were inevitable. Severus had the choice to let someone else kill the Dark Lord.
