Even with how he felt, he could not help but to look. Really a gorgeous woman in next to nothing and with hair that looked as if she'd just been shagged? He'd be a monk not to at least look.
The look but was fleeting though, and he turned down his eyes to the floor as she asked how he was, frowning at the question. Why did people insist on wanting you to talk about things?
He shrugged. "Yeah, I'm fine," he lied, though he never had been the liar Jamie was. His face belied him spectacularly. "Just got some bad news this morning." At least she hadn't asked what he was doing on this floor, or in the spare room.
"How are you?" he asked instead, shifting focus. "Do you need hang over potion?"
