"You could have done those things, or just simply told me," Scor said, stretching out a little. "It was going public anyway, and I am your best friend. Not much hurts me, but that issue does. I mean, you don't really like anyone or probably miss anyone, or care if they even notice. I would be glad to trade places with you and go for pure logic."
He looked up, reminding himself that he had to forgive his friend, and he did. "You did get an article published," he said with a soft smile. "Lori helped with the rest. Sometime I react without thinking, like you act without feeling. Between both of you, I am fine."
He reached over and punched Al in the shoulder. "You are still my best friend. So how does it feel to have your article out there? You hit the big time now."
