"Probably," James agreed with a shrug. "You know she won't be happy. I was already dodging hexes after the owls arrived this morning. Should be interesting!" Lily's temper was one of the things that had fascinated him about her from that first day on the Hogwarts Express. She wouldn't be the woman he loved without it, but it did make things exciting around the house from time to time.
He echoed Harry's nod. He knew Sirius and Jamie loved each other. That much was clear, even if the pairing had come as a bit of a surprise at first. The two of them were so much alike.
Enough alike that James was a bit concerned they were going to be the death of each other. He hoped that having someone else to worry about would lend them a little restraint when it came to hurling themselves into danger - Lily and then Harry had certainly had that effect on him - but it might have been a vain hope. He was pretty sure neither Jamie nor Sirius even knew what the word 'restraint' meant.
"They'll be good for each other," he concluded, then added with a wry look: "if they don't get each other killed first."
