"No promises." James smirked at his son. "Paperwork has never exactly been my battlefield of choice." Not that homework had ever presented him much of a challenge, but that didn't mean he liked it.
Something Harry had wanted to talk to him about. James blew out a sigh. "Wouldn't have anything to do with Sirius and Jamie, would it?" He sincerely hoped Harry had already gotten the news, and Harry's words did seem to imply that he had. "Because I already got that news. Your mother did too. That's the other reason I'm here." He gave Harry a sheepish half-smile.
