Remus made a small noise of amusement. "Only of myself," he countered.
"New plan. Let's stop talking about Sirius." Neither of them were going to be okay with missing Sirius' wedding for some time. There was little point in the two of them hashing out faults they had no control over because those faults belonged to someone else.
There much more immediate things to be thinking, or not thinking, about -- such as the bare breath's worth of space between the two of them in that moment and the energy it seemed to create. Or the fact Regulus wasn't pulling away from Remus' first questioning kiss as a part of him had been afraid would happen.
A brief sting accompanied the nip of teeth and he hissed softly in surprise at the shock of unfamiliar sensation. The fingers still tangled with Regulus' gently pulled away, leaving Regulus' hand where it was on his hip, to dance curiously along the edge of the other man's jaw. His lips parted slightly, instinctively inviting further exploration.
