Re: Harry/James
"He's not that scary, Dad. Maybe it's because you killed him, or because he's seventeen, or... I don't know, but he's not that scary," he said, and the smirked. "I got wicked aim. You should have been a chaser, and maybe you would have hit him."
James snorted. "You should tell that to Snape. He's not too impressed with what I'm doing, because I don't have homicidal fury, which makes me suck according to him." He sighed. "I'm trying. I can do routine spells with nothing now. Of course, now he's asking me to do two and three at the same time. If it gets intense, I get migraines, but I doubt I'll ever be in a duel with him for two hours. It's just... not enough."
He shook his head. "I don't know what he wants, and he's a brilliant wizard, even I can see that, but he's such a lousy teacher. If I can do it, then fine, but if I don't get it, I'd have better luck hitting my head against the wall. I'm finally getting the occlumency, mostly because I've been trying it to practice legilimency on my own, but I don't have an intellectual grasp, which makes it hard to do, and that fucking Sectumsempra... that's what prompted the lack of homicidal fury, but that's just creepy. I don't have a problem killing him if that's what I have to do, but it's not about revenge and I'm not interested in seeing him suffer. I just want him gone."
