"I know you sometimes don't believe it, and maybe I'm not as good as showing it as I should be, but I'm proud of you. Of how you've handled everything so far. Most people would break under the pressure you're under, you do realise that, don't you? You're being braver than I could ever dream of."
"I might not always agree with you, but I'm always proud of you. And I've never doubted your devotion, not once."
He smiled. "I'll come over then, because this I have to see," he said with a grin. "And please tell me you're going to get her up in the air, I'd be so disappointed if you got a bike and didn't," he said with a laugh, because really some rules really were meant to be broken. "Just make sure your grandmother never finds out," he added. "At least if you want to avoid those howlers of hers."
