"I don't know. Maybe I've grown up seeing your hair and deciding that I'd never look like that," he pointed out with a raised eyebrow.
James nodded. "That's fine, but now that I know, I'm keeping my eyes open. I'll burn that thing the moment that gets through the door."
He shook his head. "No, he did not say anything else and it was yesterday, and before you say anything, no way I was leaving that bed to make a report. It wasn't that important. He wants to scare me. That was what it was. Oh, yeah he taunted me about not killing him at the Quidditch match; I ignored."
He looked at his Dad, fighting the urge not to roll his eyes. "It's not really your place to protect him, Dad. Sirius can take care of himself, and Snape wants him to go to the training lessons with me." He shrugged. "I don't know but even if there is, it's difficult to warn here to trace anything when I'm using the actual pocket watch and it's also so fast that it might be hard. Whatever, though. Just let me know."
