Re: Harry/James
Harry stared at Jamie, forcing himself not to laugh. "How did I end up with the vainest of sons?" he asked slightly amused. "With my hair the way it is you'd consider yours in perfect order at all times."
He chuckled. "Well I'm sure your uncle would know a thing or two about howlers, but I'll check in the owlery. If for no other reason that I'm now curious."
He listened as James spoke, biting back the remark that James should have told him immediately, regardless of what the conversation was. "When was this?" he asked. "And did he say anything else, no matter how insignificant it may seem."
He smiled reassuringly. "We'll make as sure as we can that he'll not get to Sirius," he said. "I wonder though..." He paused. "If he's using the watches actively, perhaps the magic could be traced to a location. I'll have to check that with the right people, see if there is anything we can do to turn this against him."
