Re: Harry/James
Harry laughed. "Your hair will survive a little fatherly attention, I promise," he said.
He frowned, because James was right, she was rash enough to do that. "I'm not sure howlers get through, actually," he said. "Want me to find out? Seeing how I've never seen one in the office I'm guessing they dispose of them in the owlery." Hopefully before they went off.
He smirked. "Just don't fall off any brooms this time around, yeah?" he said. "Also could I ask for no curses, no surprise visits from Voldemort, no punches from your uncle while I'm at it, or is that asking too much?" he mused, smiling.
He forced himself not to react to his son mentioning killing, still determined to do whatever he could to stop that, when James went on and he actually was sufficiently distracted to forget that comment for a moment. "He contacted you?" he asked, serious now. "When? How? What did he say? All of it," he said as he leaned forwards, elbows on his knees as he waited for Jamie to tell him. "We'll figure it out, but I need to know everything he said."
