He glanced down and winced when he saw the ink blotches on the paper. Luckily, Professor Boot had taught them a nifty Charm for just such situation, and with a quick flick of his wrist, the ink drops were sucked up into his wand. Grinning up at his mother, he said, "Nah, I'm done for now. I want to go down and make fun of Rosie for being so nervous."
He snickered as he shoved his books back into his bag, and rolled up his essay clumsily before stuffing in with the others. "But maybe later we can go over my Potions assignment? I don't understand why the Hellebore needs to be syrupy for the Draught of Peace. Isn't syrupy almost the same as soupy?"
He stood before she could answer, and headed towards the door, eager to do something besides studying for a couple hours.
