Patrick loved the way Alex was excited about the work. It was something he missed, that euphoria of getting to do something special. "He must see something very special in you if a Slytherin and a Black is taking a Weasley under his wings. You should be very proud."
He chuckled. "Not Black. They all died way before, except for Sirius, but knowing him, I doubt he'd write a book on potions. Maybe Samuel Brown, yes?"
He smiled. "That depends who the uncle is. I'm not sure you cousin is a good source of information. She's never been without it, and she's new at this, so it'd be difficult for her to give you a comparison, but sure, go ahead and ask anyway."
Patrick shrugged. "Only if you want to spend money for fancy cauldrons. A cauldron shouldn't affect the potion if you put the right spells, and if I were to pick something, I'd go with copper, which is in the same composite as the pewter, not gold."
