"We're wizards!" Oliver whispered back with an incredulous grin. "I can't do it, but surely you could. Or surely you know someone who could. But fine, I suppose we can have a vanilla party for once. At some point you and I will have to plan a party, it would be one for the history books. George and Fred would have nothing on it."
Oliver nodded. "That's a good plan. I used that for many years. It works until they catch you with a bloke."
"Please, I haven't talked to your father in an ice age," he rolled his eyes back at Jamie. "It's just clear he has a thing for you."
He shook his head mockingly before grinning. "Well, if you insist on flying the infernal contraption, then perhaps you can convince Sirius to allow me to take a whirl."
Wood rubbed his arm as if hurt. "Obviously not a good one..." He scratched the back of his head. He had never been boyfriend material. "It's odd. I've never had the luxury of actually caring for another bloke because the longer it would last the greater the possibility someone would find out."
