Ari shook her head. "Not having it here shows that they know they don't belong here," she countered with a grin. "Now, if you'd been hosting a fundraiser, no one would have thought twice about it being here." Following him over, she leaned against his desk while he got the tea ready, studying him when she was pretty sure he wasn't looking.
She was a little disappointed he wouldn't be at the match. Not that she'd expected him to play, but it might have been nice to know he was watching them play. Or make fools of themselves, whichever the case may have been. "Sounds like a busy Friday. Hopefully the rest of the weekend will be easy for you."
Her weekend, she knew, was going to be interesting. The first day of camp on Saturday, two classes worth of hormonal teenagers, one transfer student she knew nothing about, and a dog. Oh yes, her weekend was going to be interesting. She grinned lightly. "Everything's set for Saturday on paper, but it's the actuality that usually needs the work. After the incidents the first time I ran this camp, I reasoned it's best if I ... check everything out myself before hand, to make sure it's all up to snuff."
She regarded him, and shook her head. "Don't apologize. I know if I were in your position, I'd be going a little batty with the weight of it all. I think you're entitled to your rants, and what're friends for if not to listen to you rant on?"
