Remus scratched behind Dean's ears an extra bit as a reward for staying put, before murmuring a quiet 'stay' as he focused on the conversation with Craig.
"Probably not," he chuckled, noticing the bright smile and interpreting only as far as 'good date'. "He's little and you're his world right now. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself."
Reaching absently to scratch Dean some more, unconsciously letting the motion sooth him. "Yes, I'm fine." Seemed to be saying that a lot these days, too. "It went well enough. She knows what to expect now, at least. It's really up to her how she deals with her life. I can help her know what changes may come. But, this is who she is now."
And he said who, not what, on purpose. He wouldn't teach her to believe she could separate herself from the wolf.
