Regulus continued to put this away using magic. What they couldn't do, the house elves could fix. They probably had tonnes of time on their hand without all the students. He looked at Remus with the corner of his eyes. "You look like you're you know something, or you think you know something." Without waiting, he called for Dolan.
"Yes, Master," he said bowing.
"Dolan, meet professor Lupin. A friend of Master Sirius," Regulus said. The house elf bowed in Remus' direction. "If he ever needs anything, you shall assist him. You may go."
He waited until he heard the pop. "That would be Sirius's gift, in case you hadn't met him yet. I can't believe he was willing to bind a house elf to himself." There might have been several insults about house elves before Sirius had left the house all those years ago.
"You should stay here. I'm sure there are plenty of room in Gryffindor tower, and it's... it's absolute fun. You should remember that, right? I'm pretty sure you had some when you were here," he said, nudging Remus' shoulder with his. "Oh, come on. They had no hope. Dumbledore would have done it even quicker. It's what the school is. It represents something. It's just not right that the students aren't here."
