"My mum offered to take me back and forth with Katie, but she said it might be best for me to get out of the house again. Be with some new people, broaden my horizons or whatever," Bailey shrugged. "I agree I guess."
She nodded and grinned. "I always wanted a little brother," she said. "I've got three little sisters, and I love them to death, but it would be fun to have a boy around the house I think. Keep my father from playing tea party too much."
Standing, she went to her trunk and pulled out a picture of her family and put it on her desk. "Yeah, but what happens if they open the school back up to boarding?" she asked. She didn't want to think about it. Didn't want it to happen. Eventually, but not now. "Won't your mum have to go live there? I know I wouldn't want to leave my babies."
