"Yeah, give me five minutes," he said as he started to move behind his desk, locking up parchments and spelling his desk. The most important information about his research was downstairs, but this was about the security and it was just as important. Tomorrow, they could sit down and change procedure, but for today, he needed some sleep.
"You did the right thing. It's not your job to follow them," he said. He turned his head to look at Dale. "Did you do it because you wanted to protect the building or because of me?" It wasn't arrogance, but a genuine need to know how far instinct went.
