"Hey now," Scorpius said, grinning back at his best friend. "We didn't discriminate. We beat everyone. We won the whole thing a couple of my years. And if we go to a match together, he can pick his favorite team." His attention would be a bit distracted and it was all good as far as he was concerned. He wasn't going to be possessive, and it was a good start. He just liked the thought of spending time with someone who wanted to be there.
The title of the book struck him as odd. "Severing and You? That sounds, well, a little odd. You can teach me some of that medical stuff. I know basic triage. You two are the brains. I'm just the auror trainee." He would love to lose the watchful eye of the bodyguards and everyone else. Even a privacy spell might not do here. Instead he turned a little red, trying to beat back those thoughts.
