Summary: Theo goes to get the man who killed his daughter, and to lay his trap for Voldemort
It was quite late in the evening as Theodore left Nott Manor and set out to follow the directions of Voldemort. They were not hard to follow, and soon he found himself inside the house, a man on the floor in front of him.
He did not linger, nor did he speak or do anything else that could possibly be used against him. He might be here on invitation from the Dark Lord, and he might have said he'd be undisturbed, but he did not trust that.
Pulling out a portkey he placed it on the man's body and activated it, placing them both in the dungeons under Nott manor. The dungeons were a part of the older main wing of the manor, and charmed so that no human but a Nott, or someone in the company of a Nott, could access it or leave it. That went for port-keys and Apparition alike. The cell they'd landed in was small with undecorated walls of dark stone. The ceiling and floor was of the same material. There was no door, no windows, no furniture, just him and the man on the floor.
Pocketing the portkey, Theo prepared himself before trying Legilimens on the man in front of him. He was very far from an expert but the memories were recent, on the surface and easily accessible for anyone with just a hint of talent.
Of course the memories themselves only proved what he knew, that Voldemort was lying and trying to manipulate him. It helped that the Charlotte of the memory didn't act like he was sure his Charlotte would. She was not, had not been, an Unspeakable for nothing, and he doubted she'd sceam like a little girl in the face of danger.
Letting the man fall heavily to the ground, Theo pondered what to do with him. He had held the wand which killed his daughter, yet it had not been of his own doing. For now, Theo left him on the floor. He'd see if Professor Snape could get more out of the man than he could, and then decide what to do with him.
For now he needed to have dinner with what was left of his family, before he contacted Snape on the man in the dungeons.
