Remus opened his mouth to say as animals, but thought better of it and scowled with mock-outrage. "Now I think you're just trying to trap me into saying something horribly wrong," he laughed. "But now that I think about it...
"...nope, still have no thing for your brother." Remus smirked.
"Regulus," Remus reached out to rest his fingers lightly on the other man's arm, "you don't have to go it alone, whatever you decide to do. Trust, well, I understand that needs time. But, not joining the Order doesn't rule out finding few, or even only one or two allies who might help you do whatever it is you decide to do. I don't think staying out of it is going to be an option for long, though. Sooner or later, you have to assume that whatever it is you did last time, he'll find out.
"I don't think they are." Shrugging, Remus didn't look away. "I could be wrong. As we've both said, we don't each other well, yet. But, my gut says they aren't."
