Re: Remus - Regulus
"I guess that makes perfect sense. I haven't exactly thought about them in that way," he answered.
Regulus smiled mischievously when Remus started to laugh. "Well, I see that you're finally understanding all the possibilities. It would be very entertaining if I didn't think that they would literally kill each other."
He watched as Remus watched his fingers, and he found again that he was asking more questions than he should have. "Does that bother you? The touching I mean. I know I never wanted people to touch my mark."
He went back to staring into the garden and the trees there. "Yes and no. I miss that connection, that sense of belonging, but I don't miss what it became, the sense of desperation, of slavery, the fear. There are too many negative feelings associated with it to truly miss it."
Regulus smiled. "You're a good person, Remus Lupin. I know that. I didn't need you to tell me about this light. It's why I warned you. The man Severus was describing was not you. Even with all his prejudices, Severus is a very perceptive men." He thought that Remus was making the right decision. "A theoretical study won't hurt you, but when you think you're ready for the practical study, if you have any questions, you can ask someone who probably doesn't have much light inside."
