Re: Remus - Regulus
Remus looked up as he heard Regulus approach, recognising his walk. He'd been enjoying the semi-silence since he'd gotten outside, thinking about what Regulus had said inside about not being like Greyback. "It is indeed. I may be able to think again sometime before the New Year."
"Wasn't planning on coming outside?" Remus shrugged casually only a moment before the weight of Regulus' cloak settled around them. His eyes widened in surprise and he chuckled inwardly, thinking Regulus might have his own mother-henning instincts. All he said aloud was a quiet "I'll be fine. I promise. But, thank you."
He wasn't going to disrespect such a thoughtful gesture by dismissing it with stories of the harsh winters he'd survived with little more than the clothes on his back.
"I've been thinking a lot about what you said the other day about knowing how studying darker magic would affect the magic that is already apart of me because I'm a werewolf." Remus pulled his knees up so he could wrap his arms around them, not from cold but more lingering after-reaction to his experiment of the day before. "I decided I needed to know myself before I could answer that question, before I try anything in the book you gave me. So, I tried something yesterday."
