Re: Scor and Al
"I care about scandals only when they're history," Al declared. "And," he pointed at Helena Nott's tombstone, "Charlotte's grandma married young to someone thirty-five years her senior. Died young too. There's bound to be scandals and secrets."
Al made a mental note to search the old newspapers for Helena or Nicholas, just out of curiosity.
"I think Dad wants me to have many friends," Al tilted his head. "Hm. Apparently socializing with you doesn't balance out the oddness of spending my time reading in Snape's study. I don't see how it is any different from the similar oddness of reading in Ravenclaw common room in proximity of my peers, including Lorcan. But yeah," Al sighed. "You better reintroduce us. We've exchanged homework notes but I don't believe we ever actually discussed them verbally."
Al seemed wary at the mention of the party, especially the one with possibility of Scor's parents. "You're inviting me somewhere where your parents might be present as well? Urgh, that doesn't speak well for a party, you do know that. And I'm quite sure they'll have an abysmal people-to-books ratio in that place."
