"Anyway, I still have both," he answered. "If you're asking me if I use the Elder wand, then no, I do not. If you're asking me if I still possess it, yes I do. It's safe."
Harry smiled at the disbelief in Snape's eyes. "Contrary to what some will tell you I don't try to run my children's lives," he said with a smirk. "I have tried to persuade him to cut down, but I would never make him. It seems you have given him the proper motivation."
He nodded as Snape went on. "I am pleased to hear that." He pondered if he should say what was on his mind next, but decided to do so anyway. "Al admires and likes you greatly," he said. "I hope for his sake that the friendship he sees is mutual, but just in case it's not, I would appreciate if you'd tell me. He has as much trouble picking up on other people's emotions as he is on picking up on his own, he would not know."
