Re: Remus - Craig
"A puppy farm?" Remus asked, eyebrows climbing to meet his hairline.
He laughed, though when Craig handed him three balls, demanding he juggle them. "I tell you I can speak half a dozen languages, worked on excavations sites, and as a deckhand -- but juggling is what you disbelieve?"
Where they were sitting was too close to be able to control the balls without smacking Craig in the face. So, Remus stood and stepped a little to one side where things were a little more open.
Shaking his head and trying to recall lessons from more than five years earlier, he tossed the first ball into the air, followed by the second, keeping a criss-cross pattern going until he had the rhythm steady between all three. Then he began on some of the fancier tricks, tossing one into the air and crossing two beneath. A quick twist of his wrist to touch the wand in it's holster and a whispered charm added two more balls to the batch, which were also thrown into the pattern he was now weaving.
After a half minute or so of that, he caught all five and handed them back to Craig. "Believe me now?"
Sitting down once more, he took a drink and smirked at the younger man. "Why would I tell him that?"
