Al took a sip of whitened mixture. Now, this isn't so bad. The milk dulled the taste of tea and made it bearable, the way sugar used to. It helped with the spice burn in his mouth as well.
He took another sip, then another.
"Snape told me he was," Al said. "Right before telling me he had no wish to legilimens me. But," he continued with a proud smile, "I managed to convince him otherwise. And it was brilliant!" Al paused for a second for another sip. "Embarrassing at first. But brilliant. He suggested I cut down on my sugar."
There, that summarizes it rather well, Al thought.
