"Sounds like a smart man, your father." He smiled at the thought of so many knitting ladies, though. It was nice, a little bit of the homey comfort he'd been missing for so many years.
Remus' eyes focused on another time, another series of times, as he thought about the answer to Craig's curiosity. "Woodworking and some leatherworking, obviously. Several odd handy-man jobs, cartography, deck-swabbing, some excavation skills, juggling, half a dozen rusty languages..." He laughed a bit self-consciously. "I've moved around a lot."
Nodding his agreement that a Weasley gathering was likely not the best place for a small puppy. "Well, if you can get him away from your mother, you'll have to bring him around some time. We can talk, old dog to young." He winked teasingly as he took another drink. "Any idea what you're going to name him, yet?"
