Re: Regulus/Remus/Sirius
"Of course I am," Remus admitted with an unabashed chuckle. "If they're nice, maybe I'll volunteer to referee instead."
On second thought -- no. Remus would tease, but he knew better than to try and be an impartial referee in a game between those teams. Shaking his head, he watched while Regulus took the gift.
"Because it's Christmas and everyone should have something to open on Christmas morning." He didn't know if Sirius would have thought to buy his brother a gift and, as he'd forgotten to tell Sirius himself, he'd known it was unlikely Regulus would get it that morning, whatever it was. He couldn't invite the man to Christmas breakfast and leave him the only one without a gift. That would be cruel.
"I'm glad you like it," he said with a shy smile. He hadn't been sure he could craft something elegant enough for the younger man's tastes, but he'd tried. "I didn't put any of the usual protection charms on it. I thought you'd likely prefer to do that yourself."
