Re: Regulus/Remus/Sirius
"You're more than welcome to my place," Remus said from the spot by the wall where he'd just been watching the brothers. He'd wanted to give them a moment to themselves without giving them a chance to botch this. So, he'd stayed back out of the way after his one interjection. Now he felt it was safe to draw attention to himself again.
"I only volunteered to even the numbers, after all." He shot Pads a teasing grin, remembering his threat to sit out and root for the younger generation. Of course, it was also mostly the truth.
Remus fancied he could practically see Sirius bouncing with anticipation to show off his Jacket to James Sirius. He couldn't help grinning at them both. It really was a fantastic gift. Regulus had done better than Remus expected with the gesture.
"If you'd like," he said to Regulus, "there's a mountain of food and drinks in the dining room. Or," he grinned and offered a slim box wrapped in what Lily Luna assured him was dark green paper with a small silver bow, "you can open a present of your own."
