Re: Tonks and Teddy [Remus welcome if he likes]
"If you were, I'd have to get a stepstool to reach you!" She laughed, glancing over to the taller ones as well. Then back to Teddy with a bright smile. "I am, really. How about you? And I have another little something for you." The last part was said a bit more shyly.
She reached down by her feet, lifting up the bag and holding it out to him. Inside were two notebooks, one that looked newer than the other, and a CD. The newer notebook was a transcription of her previous notebook, the originalof which she had given Remus. "I was absolute pants at keeping real diaries. But I loved lyrics and poems and things. And your father started writing in mine as well. Little poems or quotes. When he didn't know how to say it.."
The older notebook had Teddy's initials on the cover. Inside was her handwriting and lyrics to songs that she had dedicated to him while pregnant with him and during that small amount of time she had with him. "I found that in my secret spot.." There was also Remus' writing in the later months, with quotes that he'd dedicated to Teddy as well. "Like I said, I really like music..And your father really likes books.."
And last, but not least, the CD was recently made with the songs that she had dedicated to him burnt there. "I hope you have a CD player? If not, I can get you one. I just didn't know how else to give music..there are no cassette tapes around anymore." Cripes but she felt old saying that.
