"You've done a brilliant job. Definitely an O!" Al agreed. He eyed the kettle and reached for one of the cups he just washed.
"Tea?" he asked Dad, as he poured himself a cuppa.
He didn't add all the sugar he could persuade to melt in it, as he usually did with tea, coffee, or any other drinkable solvent. Day number one and cup number six, he told himself sternly. Therefore, no sugar. Snape's experiment starts today: sooner better than later. Al sniffed at the tea. His first sample of it didn't smell right and it tasted even worse. Perhaps spicing it, the way Snape spices his chai, might dull the sugarless taste. Yes, good idea.
