There were times when he couldn't avoid speaking to his father, and Christmas was apparently one of those times. Still there was only so much fathering he could take and when he got the chance, he ducked out on the balcony to avoid him, only to realise he wasn't alone.
"Oh hi," he said, casting a heating spell on himself to avoid the cold air. "And here I thought I'd be the only one seeking refuge out here."
"So I'm hiding from my father, who are you hiding from?" he asked as he stepped closer, giving her a small hug. For a moment he pondered that maybe he shouldn't, but a hug wasn't a big deal, right?
