Re: After Dinner - Harry and Al
Al was absolutely exhausted after a day of being in the crowded room with this many people at once.
With all the excitement of the day, he kept considering another cup of extra-sweet coffee, but it would've been his sixth for today and Snape did tell him to begin cutting down his sugar and caffeine intake and Al was stubborn.
With coffee or without it, his thoughts jumped and tangled all the same, so as usual, Al escaped somewhere quiet (the kitchen) and found himself something mindless to do: dishes. Mum's plates weren't Snape's cauldrons, but the scrubbing motion was familiar and distracted his thoughts from racing. The sound of water in the darker room soothed him.
Besides, they might appreciate having less to clean up afterwards.
