Christmas morning at Roxie's home had been warm and cheerful, as they'd exchanged gifts in front of the fireplace. Granted, it had taken her awhile to truly wake up enough to be her usual self, but eventually Roxie had gotten there. Early rising wasn't usually her favorite thing to do, but she made exceptions for important things like Quidditch and holidays.
Roxie was excited to see all of her family together for Christmas. After all, given the excitement that had been going on she figured the family needed a few moments of peace and holiday cheer. She'd been wandering from group to group saying hello and thank you for her gifts. Spotting her brother sitting by himself, she made her way over. Perching on the arm of a nearby chair, she studied him a bit before speaking.
