This being a father thing was hard. Well not so much the actual fathering part, because his daughter wasn't born yer, Neville though, or son. Still, it was difficult not to hover, and that instinct only increased as time went on.
Wryly, he smiled and amended Make that a hovering father and son. But even with his anxiousness at being an expectant father (and brother), it was still the best Christmas he'd ever had. Sharing a sleepy morning of opening presents and a lazy breakfast with his Hannah and his parents around the tree, there was nothing better.
And he didn't have to worry here either; not at Harry and Ginny's. So he determined he'd not hover or crowd Hannah. But kissing her, he realized they'd have to share the news soon, before it became obvious. He'd make it a point to tell Harry sometime today
Grinning, he left Hannah to socialize and took in the drawing room, not really hungry yet.
