It wasn't hard to understand at all, and easy to smile at her. "Completely," he said. "I had some traces of the beginning of a cold a couple of days ago and nearly freaked out," he said, blushing slightly as he said it. "Just don't tell anyone, bad for my macho image," he joked, winking at her as he did.
He laughed at her question, shaking his head. "If anyone could I would have made my little sister magical months, if not years ago, and brought her to live with me rather than leave her where she is," he said with a grin. "I can offer you some really cool prank products that imitate what Muggles call magic - only in these products it actually is." He grinned.
He laughed. "You'd think he's easy, right? Being my best mate and all. There is probably no one I know better, but I'm always stuck on him anyway. I usually get his on the day before Christmas or something - always last."
"I got half of Craig's just now," he said holding up the pink pygmepuff. "Though this little one is mostly a joke. I thought I'd see what Magical Menagerie has." He smiled at her. "Have you ever seen a rat skip a rope before?" he asked. "Come with me. They have some pretty cool animals in there, some I bet you've never seen before."
He pondered her suggestion about customising something and decided it wasn't a bad idea at all. "I like your idea, I'll see what I can come up with," he said grinning. "So what are you getting me?" he then asked cheekily. No one had ever said he wasn't nosy.
