"Harry," Grindelwald said incredulously, unsure how Harry could be so unsure of himself. "You vanquished the second greatest Dark Wizard in history - TWICE. You're the Head Auror of the most important wizarding community in the world. Of course they're proud of you."
Gellert nodded his thanks for Harry's confidence.
"I believe what you're asking," he explained, "is whether I'm going to do those things again." And for someone who died because Dumbledore asked him too, your questions exhibit an extreme lack of trust in Albus. And then he saw them - the faces of some of the people he had killed. They were nameless. He had forgotten their names, if he ever knew them. He had to find out their names.
Grindelwald put his cup of tea down. "I'm sorry, but I should probably get going. This really was lovely tea."
