"Starting to become a philosopher now?" Minerva asked, huffing out a small laugh as she began to gain control of her emotions. "No, I suppose it isn't."
She look at Atlas, then down at the puppy again. "Are you sure you want to have both of us around? Anyone can tell you, if you don't know this by now. I'm an arseload of trouble that not many can handle in the first place."
Minerva bent down and scratched the puppy, then gave Octavius a look. "Aw, poor boy. Has some cute puppy usurped your position as the baby? C'mere," she said to the older dog and rubbed his head affectionately.
She bent down further, getting to Octavius and Apollo's level. "Okay. Are you sure, because I can come back tonight. I don't want to interrupt your routine," Minerva said, worried that Ronan would owl Atlas back and tell him to stay away from her.
He didn't seem concerned though, and after giving attention to Octavius and playing with the puppy a bit, Minerva stood up and removed her cloak. She was still wearing the outfit she had worn at the Leaky earlier. "I only have a few hours before the sun rises," she advised Atlas, looking automatically to the window which was devoid of any coverings.
