Atlas ran a hand through his hair and chuckled when she laughed. He could just see her face despite her cloak, and his smile immediately faded when he saw the glisten of a tear on her cheek. "Get your arse in here," he said, reaching for her hand and pulling her inside the flat.
He'd just got her inside and shut the door when she spoke again. He stared at the wood of the door before turning to her. The dogs had run towards them, Apollo sniffing at the new person, and Oc wagging his tail at seeing Min again. Atlas made sure they weren't jumping on her as he reached out and pulled the hood of her cloak back so he could see her face.
Cupping her cheek in his hand, he used his thumb to wipe away her tears, stroking her skin softly. "What are you trying to tell me, Min?" he asked. He had a good idea, but he wanted to hear her say it. He needed to hear her say it.
