RP/OWL: Natasha and Voldemort Who: Natasha, Voldemort Where: Wherever they are When: December 17 Rating/Warnings: Summary: Natasha discovers that she is missing something... or rather someone.
The remote house was empty now that she'd killed its inhabitants, their bodies littering the floor as she paced back and forth in a mixture of rage, confusion, fear and worries. Rage because she had failed, because the little brat had escaped her. Confusion because she could not possibly understand how this could have happened. Jasper shouldn't have been able to track her or him and how the hell had he found the house at all? Fear and worry because what would the Dark Lord do to her when he found out?
The knife He'd given her was in her hand, used to kill her Muggle victims, but even this did not leave her pleasure. She'd not even taken the time to torture them. Rather, she did not feel that she earned the pleasure of His gift. She had failed him. Failed her lord and now she was using his gift - was she not deservant of whatever punishment he could bestow on her.
Screaming out loud in rage she used the knife to cut a mark in her arm, knowing it would hurt for all eternity - or as long as her life should last. The pain felt cathartic somehow, and even as she crumbled under the effect of the cursed blade she took comfort in the reminder. The reminder of what she deserved if she failed her Lord again.
Once she was gathered enough to get up, she whiped the blood off the blade and tucked it into its sheet, as always safely attached to her hip, near the back. Hidden by her cloak but easy to grasp should she need it. The pain drummed in her arm, even as she healed the cut itself, but she took pleasure in the ache, in her punishment, her reminder to never fail again.
Now she could set out to let her Lord know of her failure.
My Lord,
To my horror I have discovered that I have gravely failed You. Through what must have been some oversight on my part it seems our Hit-wizard found his brother. The boy is no longer in the house, the spells have been broken, the cage is empty.
I should have made sure this could not happen and I deserve any punishment you see fit to give me.
