"Atlas isn't thinking with his head when he sees you, or at least not the one on his head" he said with a smirk. "You can hardly judge by his reaction. If it makes you feel better, I doubt most people would pay attention. People tend not to notice things they wouldn't like."
He leaned forward. "Do you really want to know? Because you really won't like it."
Ronan didn't wait for an answer though. "I was never so jealous. I trusted my partners. I believed in that trust. Then I was turned. I almost ripped a man's arm out because he was touching my girlfriend. Suddenly, I can smell anyone that touches Ben. I know when someone finds him attractive. I don't have to guess, because I know when someone wants to fuck him. If that's not enough, I can smell him, and I know that some reactions are natural, they don't mean that Ben would cheat on me or that he's even attracted to someone else, but it doesn't change the fact that I want to kill that person.
"Patrick is doing research on the subject. It seems that I'm not alone. In fact, I'm not even one of few. He says, we're all monogamous, and we're all jealous and possessive. I'm sure there are a few exceptions out there. There always are, but Atlas is not that exception," he said. "So if you're interested, then you learn to behave, because the wrong touch, the wrong smell can get people killed. Or you cut him loose. He'll suffer, he'll be sad and depressed, and then he'll find someone else and nature will make sure that he gets attached to that person and you become nothing but a distant memory. Until you make that decision, stay away from him."
