She didn't hide her surprise, and even tested her own breathing which to her felt normal but looking down at her chest noticed that it didn't swell out and contract back in like before when taking a deep breath.
"Oh...I hadn't honestly thought of that," Minerva murmured. "Still, I hadn't anticipated you noticing right away. I don't think Atlas had thought of anything about it until he almost trapped me at dawn one morning when I was coming home. Quite recently and it was by accident on his part. But, that's neither here nor there," she finished.
It was on the tip of her tongue to tell Ronan that he needn't be sorry, but she bit it back. There wasn't any pity in his voice. He was just telling her that because it was the polite thing to do, she concluded.
"Anything you can tell me. How it is for you. Is the jealousy and possessiveness a part of what happens for all werewolves? Is there anything I need to be aware of?"
