It was only a few hours off and the sun had already begun to set, making it possible for Minerva to slip out of her room and drink the blood she needed for the evening.
She showered and changed at her mother's place, which was the only few things that Minerva allowed herself to do. She wouldn't sleep where her family lived. She didn't want to risk hurting them in the middle of the night.
A knock on the door as she was brushing out her hair back in her room got her attention, and Minerva smiled when she saw Gideon.
"Right on time. Must be a hit wizard thing, hm?" she teased, stepping aside.
