Where: Ministry
When: December 10

Summary: Jazz reaches his breaking point (see what I did there?)
'Stupid bloody thing!’ Jasper slammed his fist into the desk, making the wood buckle slightly. He glared at the witch who had paused as she passed the door of his office –The Ministry still hadn’t taken it back off him yet after they’d shut him away in the cupboard for being a were- and slammed said door with a wave of his wand. Rude? Perhaps but if one more person asked him if he was okay he’d likely explode. He hadn’t slept in a week, he’d hardly eaten, he’d been avoiding Oliver and all the while he’d been sneaking about trying to find a trace of that bitch so he could get his baby brother back. So no, he was not okay. But if he admitted that to anyone and word got back to her, Bryn wouldn’t be okay either.
Running his fingers over the two halves of Bryn’s wand, he pushed the splintered break back together and attempted to re-knit the phoenix feather again. The core was the heart of the wand and it wouldn’t work unless that was in one piece. Of course the wood was only too happy to comply with his wishes. But the feather was being stubborn. Jasper knew his attempts were futile, but somehow his mind thought that if he could fix the wand then Bryn would be okay. Biting his lip, he tried again, only for the two halves to remain stubbornly apart.
'Dammit!!’ He threw his own wand down onto the desk; it skittered across the surface and fell to the floor, sending out angry red sparks. He didn’t move to pick it up; instead he covered his face with his hands, feeling his eyes burn as he fought back frustrated tears. He wouldn’t give up Jamie’s file, but if he didn’t Bryn would pay the price. He was trapped. If he didn’t give Natasha the information she wanted, Bryn would get hurt. If he told anyone about what was going on and she found out, Bryn would get hurt. If he gave her what she wanted, Jamie would suffer and he’d already been through too much.
Letting out a desolate sounding sigh he leaned his head on the desk, trying to think of some way out of the situation.
