"Innocent bystander?" Her brows elevated. "I suppose you could put it that way, yes. I mean, Ben was pushing for Quoft."
She paused a moment as she attempted to imagine Quoft in Neville's place, and it was all she could do not to bust up laughing. She gazed down for a moment, breathing deeply until she had the worst of the urge to giggle madly repressed.
Sipping her drink to buy herself a bit of time - and to make sure she wasn't going to have any surprise giggles, Ari nodded once. "Thank you. I'll be keeping an ear out as well. Maybe contact a few of the ones that had done well in the class, see if they haven't found anything for the summer. If I get desperate." Though she reasoned things would work out all right.
Taking another sip of her drink - and checking the clock to make sure they had time - Ari leaned in closer to Neville. "It really isn't very exciting," she whispered against his ear, not so close that her lips brushed it, but only just far enough away that they didn't. "Lots of things to keep them occupied, but they have to do everything the Muggle way, to learn how the other side operates without magic. They're not even supposed to have their wands with them."
