"Ah, I see." Neville smiled lopsidedly. "So I'm just an innocent by-stander in Ashley's revenge on you?" he teased slightly and took a sip of his pint. "I'm still a trifle clumsy when I get over-enthusiastic about a project - I had to get something in the ground quickly and... I forgot to check for hives. You could try telling me, and I could try to be more careful but... my clumsy gene might take over and veto the request."
Catching Ari's near-slip he grinned at her and clearing his throat just in case anyone had been listening. "Well, maybe next year when he's sick of having me around all summer long." At the mention of a second counsellor, Neville's eyes flicked upward...thinking of Minerva, but... she had gotten a job, thank Merlin, so he tried to think of someone else. "I'll let you know if someone comes to mind." Neville wasn't so sure Minerva would be a good choice anyway, job or no-job, she was a little too.... free-spirited.
Neville chuckled since she had a point but he shrugged. "You're already up to something... might as well tell me about it while you're looking the part. If I have any questions, I'll save them for later." he played along, grinning and lowering his voice.
